How an appointment runs

The same four standards on every assignment, whether it is a refinance package or a single affidavit.

Before

Every appointment is confirmed directly with the signer or the scheduler. For direct clients I check ID, document status and witness needs before locking a time. Appointments confirmed this way do not get cancelled at the door.

At the table

On time, presented professionally, and prepared. Each notarial act is completed accurately: certificate wording, journal entry, stamp and signature. No blanks left behind.

After

Scanbacks and status updates go out as the file instructions require. Anything unusual gets flagged to you the same day, not discovered at funding.

Return

Packages are sealed and dropped with the carrier per the shipping instructions, and tracking is reported back. Documents stay in my custody until they are in the carrier's hands.
